Well finally we come to the conclusing that already made Websites launch a lot faster, and probably are a lot cheaper to make than homemade ones. I'm starting to learn the ins and outs of ASP.Net 2.0, and it's a very powerful method for web application design and creating. I've been programming for a while now using ASP Classic, ASP.Net 1.0, 1.1, and now we're up to 2.0. I still feel that old school methods work the best, especially if you have to customize the page and what not. A lot of this built in functionality is nice, but you really have to bend it to make it work for you, and if there are any bugs, well you're gonna have to make a workaround that could take longer than if it were just writting in a previous flavor of ASP. I still like classic ASP to tell you the truth for simple functionality and design. But for bloggers, web portals, e-commerce sites, and hopefully soon pixel sites, since I'm creating www.milliondollarmicro.com from straight ASP.Net 2.0 no fancy php script stuff or anything like that. possibly a little DHTML if i have the time, but I find a lot of that stuff overkill. Anyhow, back to work...
